Location: London, UK
Function: Commercial / Revenue Management
Level: Senior Leadership
Reports to: VP Revenue Management / Chief Commercial Officer
MAXIMISE EVERY FLIGHT. OPTIMISE EVERY OPPORTUNITY.
Behind every flight is a commercial decision — how we forecast demand, price our seats, manage inventory and maximise the value of every departure.
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Revenue Management to lead our airline's Revenue Management strategy across the network.
Reporting to the VP Revenue Management / Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead a high-performing team and work closely with Network Planning, Pricing, Sales, Distribution, Digital, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of our commercial organisation.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You will own the airline's approach to revenue optimisation, demand forecasting, inventory management and commercial trading, using data, technology and market insight to maximise network performance.
You will lead across:
Revenue Management & O&D: Optimise revenue across origin-and-destination markets, balancing local and connecting demand.
Demand Forecasting: Lead forecasting using booking curves, historical trends, seasonality, market intelligence and competitive activity.
Pricing & Inventory: Partner with Pricing to optimise fares, fare-class availability, protection levels and seat inventory.
Network Partnership: Work closely with Network Planning on routes, capacity, aircraft deployment and schedule changes.
Commercial Trading: Monitor booking performance and market trends, identifying opportunities and taking action throughout the booking cycle.
Distribution & Retailing: Partner with Distribution and Digital teams across NDC, direct channels and evolving airline retailing capabilities.
Analytics & Transformation: Drive the use of advanced analytics, automation, AI and next-generation Revenue Management technology.
Leadership: Build, develop and inspire a high-performing Revenue Management team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We are looking for an established airline Revenue Management or Pricing leader with significant experience in a complex, demand-led environment.
You will bring:
Strong expertise in airline Revenue Management, O&D optimisation and demand forecasting.
Deep understanding of the relationship between pricing, inventory, capacity and customer demand.
Experience working with Network Planning, Pricing and Commercial leadership.
A track record of delivering measurable improvements in revenue, yield, RASK, load factor or related commercial KPIs.
Strong analytical capability and experience with advanced forecasting, optimisation or Revenue Management technology.
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
The executive presence to translate complex analysis into clear commercial decisions.
A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Business or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
Experience with NDC, airline distribution, dynamic pricing, machine learning or Revenue Management transformation would be highly advantageous.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Airline inventory is finite and perishable. Every seat represents a commercial opportunity that disappears when the aircraft departs.
Your decisions will directly influence how we price our network, allocate capacity, respond to demand and maximise the revenue potential of every flight.
This is an opportunity to shape Revenue Management strategy at scale, combining sophisticated analytics with strong commercial leadership.
Salary £170K + Car Allowance + 30% Bonus (Discussed at interview ) + company benefits
