About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Travel Consultant to join a growing travel team in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves travel, enjoys creating memorable experiences for customers and has a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.

You will be responsible for understanding each customer's needs and turning their travel ideas into carefully planned holidays and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to booking and post-travel support.

Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.

Sell a wide range of holidays, including package holidays, tailor-made trips, cruises, luxury travel, city breaks and long-haul destinations.

Understand customers' budgets, preferences and requirements to recommend the right travel options.

Create and convert new sales opportunities while working towards individual and team targets.

Handle enquiries confidently by telephone, email and face-to-face.

Provide accurate advice on destinations, travel requirements, accommodation, flights and other travel arrangements.

Upsell and cross-sell additional travel products and services where appropriate.

Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.

Deal professionally with amendments, cancellations and customer queries.

Keep up to date with destinations, travel products, promotions and industry developments.

Work closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure a smooth customer journey.

About You

Experienced within the travel industry, ideally with a proven sales background.

Passionate about travel and enthusiastic about helping customers.

Confident, friendly and professional.

A strong communicator with excellent listening skills.

Commercially aware and motivated by achieving sales targets.

Organised and able to manage multiple customer enquiries at the same time.

Comfortable working independently while also being a strong team player.

Customer-focused with a genuine desire to go the extra mile.

Knowledgeable about holiday destinations and travel products.

Confident using booking systems, CRM systems and standard office technology.
